Hemp, like linen and flax yarns, offers the cooling, breathability and lightweight benefits of cotton, while adding durability, drape and sheen that is ideal for lightweight fabrics. 

Hemp fibres are not elastic and as such, is an excellent option for projects that you don't want to give naturally.

Hemp fibre is spun in a similar manner to spinning flax and offers similar characteristics. Initially, hemp can feel rough to touch, but with a little time, the fibres break in and become beautifully soft.
