This is a fabulous toothy DK. Highland wool is a cross of Corriedale and Merino sheep, giving it a lovely structure. This yarn sucks up the dye especially well for a non-superwash and when knitted gives lovely regular stitches. It works well for colorwork, and would also work well for felting in the right circumstances, although that doesn’t mean the yarn felts when it’s dyed, it behaves well in dyeing conditions.
